HYBRID INK DENSITY POST CARE
INSTRUCTIONS
For 5-7 days (until the area is completely healed) follow these instructions very closely.
Failure to do so may result in color loss or infection!
1. Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers, which may have bacteria on them and create an
infection.
2. Do not wash the pigmented area for 2 days. After 2 days, it is suggested to use a mild, sulfate-free shampoo.
If you need a recommendation, please let your artist know.
3. Apply the supplied aftercare moisturizer 2-4 times daily until the procedure area is healed.
4. No make-up, sun, sauna, soap, jacuzzi, swimming, contact with animals until the area is completely healed.
5. Do not use products that contain AHA’s (anti-aging creams) on the hairline of the procedure area. (Other
examples: Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, etc) Always check your labeling.
6. You may cover your scalp with a loose cap or scarf, but it is not recommended. For best results, leave the
scalp uncovered until fully healed.
Please follow these important notes during the healing process AND after!
- Use a spray-on sunscreen or wear protective clothing after the procedure area is healed to prevent pigment
color fading. - If you are a blood donor, you may not give blood for 1 year following your Scalp Micropigmentation
procedure, according to the Red Cross. (This would fall under their category of Permanent Make-up
application). - If you have any questions or concerns please notify your artist immediately.
- If you experience itching, swelling, blistering or any other complications, stop using the product and call
your technician immediately. You may be allergic to the post-care product you are using! - If you have excessive redness, swelling or tenderness, or any red streaks going from the procedure site
toward the heart, elevated temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site, contact your
physician. The area may be infected and you may need to seek medical care.
